Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and company information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, billing details are handled by Stripe - we never store your card number.

We also collect usage data: prospects you add, emails sent, calls made, and meetings booked. This data belongs to you and is used solely to provide the service.

How we use it

We use your data to operate and improve Novar, send transactional emails (account updates, billing receipts), and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Prospect data you enter (company names, contacts, research briefs) is used exclusively to power your campaigns. We do not access or analyse this data for any purpose other than delivering the service to you.

Third-party services

Novar uses the following sub-processors to deliver the service:

• Supabase - database and authentication (EU region)
• Anthropic - AI research and email generation
• Instantly.ai - email campaign delivery
• Retell AI - AI voice calls
• Stripe - subscription billing
• Calendly - meeting booking

Each of these services has its own privacy policy and data processing agreement. We only share the minimum data required for each integration to function.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure within the EU. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. API keys for third-party services are encrypted before being stored in our database.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are based in the EU or EEA, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can also request a copy of your data, restrict how we process it, or object to processing in certain circumstances.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only - specifically, a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. No third-party analytics scripts are loaded on any page of the application.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice before the changes take effect. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
